Science workshop

This time For our work shop we painted with Epsom  salt and hot water and it made crystals its sooo cool! here is a photo :D 

This was so much fun I hope we can do it again !

Crystal growing Science workshop

 This week for my workshop I did the  Crystal growing workshop and today we are making Crystals that you can eat .

But today we finished our Crystal making today and they look so good !

We made the Crystals with Borax and hot hot water .

This Week I joined the cooking group.

On the first Day I was not here .

On the second Day We had to bring vegetables to chop them so we could cook them but I was not here on the second day  so I did not know what to bring .

But We got do a word find  it was easy!! 

On the third Day We got to eat our soup it was yummy ! 

My Favourite thing to do was eat the soup it was good .

Cross Country 2020

Cross Country Reflection 2020

 I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by pushing myself into sprinting (it was really hard )

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10 year olds age group.

I am most proud of how I paced myself really well .

I think my effort towards our training at school was pretty good but sometimes I jogged shhhh.

My Team 2 2020 Reflection

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is Basketball because the girls got to play against the boys and we both tied !! I also liked how we got to go in teams and play against each other and it was FUN !!





Something that has challenged me this term has been doing the SRA because I was away. Also one time I did one with Jessica and Sophia, The funny thing was we got one wrong and it was the easiest one. We wrote ‘Jasmine walked to the earth of the pool ‘, but it was actually ‘ Jasmine walked to the end of the pool “ . We were laughing soooo hard .





The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the jingle because we had a good team and I thought ours was the best .


We did ours about L&P, it was so funny ! This is how it goes ‘ you Look so fizzy you make me dizzy, it’s like I am in heaven when I taste your lemon.





The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was dancing . I was very very embarrassed but i did it! My favourite dance we did was probably Happy because It was nice and made me happy, Also the dance was easy!





An aim I have for my learning is to get better at spelling because I used to do spelling before I went to Japan but I am in New Zealand now so I really want to get back into spelling English words.

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.





What did you use ??? : I used cardboard , seltape , cotton balls , an egg carton , pens , glue sand , fethers ,





Paper.





What was the funest part : the funest bit was thinking up the idea .





Do you think you would do this again ? : Yes I think I would do it again because then i can make something better !!

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.






Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be

I thought it was going hard and... it was !!!!





I decided to use the design : Standard I think it was really good but a little different because Michael showed me anther way to do it .





The hardest part was : to make the paper plane, Because I am not that good at doing it .








During our competition time I managed to score : 0

Maths challenge

I did The maths challenge with Candace and Sofia .

He fed all of the animals, and then he cleaned the stables. It was hard work, but Danny was happy to have a job. At first Farmer Green watched him carefully, but gradually he gave Danny some distance, showing him his trust. Danny was exhausted from a hard day's work. He wiped the sweat from his brow and proceeded to exit the barn. He left the lock in a pile of hay by the shovels and shut the door behind himself, walking away from the unlocked door. Danny was off to see Farmer Green to find out his next task...




1. what event will happen next ??? : I think that the animals will get out and eat all there crop's ,I also think the Farmer was saving the crops for winter because it might be winter soon .


2. The bit when it say's : He left the lock in a pile of hay by the shovels .

also when it says : and shut the door behind himself , walking away from unlocked door .

What has been my highlight this week : My highlight this week was ...is being with my PEP"S

and also, Dressing up :)      

What was I nervous about this week : Dressing up it was scary because I was scared of people laugh at me.

For dress up day I dressed up as : The All backs with Lily , Mia

it was fun!

The funniest thing has has happened this week is : The funniest thing was when I slipped on a pie "_" .

I think the best dressed person was : Was Teana because she had lots of extras ! and I think it was so amazing .

Anzac Day

On Anzac Day we got up at 5:45 AM 

and went down to the gate as a family to  listen on the radio to the Anzac ceremony.

We thought about the soldiers and how they risked their lives for us by going to war.We also thought about soldiers today who go to countries to help keep the peace.

I am very very grateful 🙏🏻

Exploring Around my house 

In the last few days I have been exploring outside around the house.What we have discovered are lots of different types of fungi living around the section. I have noticed that it has been a little damp and the fungi seem to like that.I thought that mum and I would investigate some more.Do you like my creative names for the fungi ?

I have made names for the ones I have found at the moment .
